Short Courses, Workshops Dates
We offer a wide variety of short course / workshops to weekend
retreats / camps and even school holiday programs for the kids.

Payment must be made 2 weeks prior to the event the number of participants
cannot exceed 20 so book early minimum of 6 required, All payment
must be made prior to commencement. Detailed training notes will
be provided for all participants on the material presented.
Staff Safety Training Workshop
Workshop Details - Northern Suburbs (Sunshine)

This 3 hour workshop , to be held at the Virginia Park Conference
Centre in East Bentleigh, will run from 10-1pm, the
training is aimed at staff who work with clients where there may
be a risk of aggression.
In the workshop the following will be covered:
- Assessing risk & minimising risk
- Legal issues
- Managing your own feelings in difficult circumstances
- Managing aggressive behaviour
- Keeping yourself safe
- Proactive to reactive responses
- De escalation strategies
- What the behaviours is trying to communicate
- Evasive defence techniques
- Restrictive intervention emergency response
The workshop will be run by Rod Catterall & Associates who
has provided training on staff safety in the health,
welfare, disability, aged care, education and justice sectors over the last 15 years.

Personal Trainer &
Gym Instructor - Combat Fitness Courses
(PDP/CEC Accredited Courses)
These C.E.C. or P.D.P. courses are held every month and takes
a half day to complete. Please phone or email to find out when the
next course will be held in your state. All courses run interstate
are restricted to group bookings, run at your location. Courses
can be organised to suit you on specific dates and times including
weekends for small groups on request . We also run private courses
if the group course dates dont suit individuals. Interstate course
are restricted to group bookings only for gymnasium wanting their
trainers to participating in a course of their choice. (Conditions

and Conditions for details. Cost of $175 (incl GST) includes
: 1 x Certificate, 1 x Course Manual, 3 CEC's on completion of the
course. These CEC's are recognised with Kinect Australia and nationally
with Fitness Australia.
Private course available during the week from 10
-1pm or 12-3pm, & Saturdays from 1-4pm. Small
groups during the week from 10 -1pm or 12-3pm, Saturdays from 1-4pm.
