Gym Instructors & Personal Trainers;
Booking Terms & Conditions

  1. Participant with special needs - an injury or illness this must be brought to the attention of the trainer before the course commences.
  2. Maximum numbers are limited to 20 places to reduce over crowding and poor instruction, so book early to avoid missing out.
  3. Minimum numbers of
    • 6 participants are required for us to come to any location in Melbourne metropolitan area.
    • 15 participants are required for country & interstate bookings.
  4. Prices - depending on the number of participants, min 6 trainers = $175 each, 7-10 trainers = $165 each, 11-14 trainers = $155 each, one on one private workshops are now available cost of $185 each. (Revised Aug 09)
  5. Additional cost - may apply for country locations to cover accomodation at standard public service rates if required to stay a full day, and may apply to interstate bookings to cover return economy airfare and or accomodation at standard public service rates if required to stay over night (but shall not exceed$150 per night). We will require from you, pick up and drop off from the airport from your end.
  6. Payment - Full payment of the agreed fee is required 2 weeks prior to course or workshops commencement date either by cash, cheque, money order or by credit card. Cheques made payable to ‘All Stars Self Defence Centres’, or direct deposit into our nominated account.
  7. Cancellation policy: No fee is payable from you if the workshop is cancelled a month or more from the agreed date. 40% of the agreed fee is payable if the workshop is cancelled one month or less from the agreed date. Where a workshop is cancelled two weeks or less before the workshop then 100% of the fee is payable. We reserve the right to cancel any workshops, all enrolments will be notified by phone and fully refunded if we are unable to provide you with an alternative date and time for a replacement workshop.
  8. No refund will be given if you fail to attend your designated workshop
  9. Discount of 5% applies to group bookings over 15 participants. (Conditions apply)
  10. Workshop agreement - all trainers must complete the form before commencement of the workshop. This agreement is to protect you and the programs you are learning.
  11. Duration - all workshops and courses run for 3 hours, cost are based on the information and time required to attain competency accreditation.
  12. Upon completion
    • you will receive 3 C.E.C points or 1 PDP per course.

  13. Insurance - As a registered Fitness Professional you and your clients will automatically be covered by your existing public liability and personal indemnity insurance policy with Fitness Australia. As ALL STARS is an accredited provider with Fitness Australia and Kinect Australia.
  14. Terms - these terms and conditions also indemnifies the All Stars Self Defence Centres and staff from and against all actions, suits, and demands made, brought or issued against the All Stars Self Defence Centres and staff. You also agree that there is a risk that one of your participants may be injured or may injure another person and you accept the said risk and shall not make any claim whatsoever nature against the All Stars Self Defence Centres and staff in respect of personal injury, whether suffered by or caused by the participants.
  15. Licensing agreement- only required when organisation or individuals are wishing to use our trademarked programs for group fitness or personal training. You must have an accredited instructor running the group fitness sessions and a 12 month contract to use our program name at your gymnasium. A higher monthly fee is charged per gymnasium for the first program with a lower month fee per month for every additional program. You do not need to sign the licensing agreement if you are currently running your own program, or just updating your skills.

Licensing Agreement Terms

  1. All programs supplied are licenced under All Stars Self Defence Centres, all documentation supplied have copyright on them, all trade marks are the property of All Stars.
  2. Gymnasiums or individuals wishing to run the group fitness sessions must completed a licensing agreement prior to commencement as all programs are a registered trade mark.
  3. You must have an accredited instructor running the licensed group fitness sessions
  4. A 12 month contract is also required to use programs at your gymnasium or in the school system.
  5. A monthly fee is $289 per month per gymnasium for the first program and $89 per month for every additional program or school.
  6. Instructors wishing to work for them selves must also fill out the licensing agreement. Instructors working for gymnasiums are exempt, the gym pays the licensing fee to run the program.
